Seasonal Catalogue Sneak Peek - Birthday Card

I hope you don't mind just a little interruption to my Sale-A-Bration Countdown posts but .....

Today is my daughter's 9th birthday - Happy Birthday Amelie!
She loves anything with the Eiffel Tower at the moment & requested her card have this image.   I received my preorder for the new Seasonal Catalogue (due to be released February 1st) & could not go past the gorgeous new More Amore DSP along with Artistic etchings (of course!)

I used Primrose Petals as a base, along with Pool Party, Very Vanilla & Basic Grey. I also added a little of the DSP to the envelope.  I have used a teeny bit of Sale-A-Bration Pool Party Ribbon for a bow along with the stitched 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon in Basic Grey.

Stamp Sets:  Artistic Etchings, Memorable Moments.
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Primrose Petals, Basic Grey, Pool Party.
Ink:  Primrose Petals, Basic Grey, Pool Party.
Cool Tools: Snail, sponge dauber (sponged edges), Glue Dots, Paper Snips, Sale-A-Bration Pool Party Ribbon, Basic Grey 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks For Looking,
TRICIA

  2. Hi Tricia,

Your daughter is going to LOVE her card!!! I especially like how the flower behind the tower makes it look like fireworks going off. I always like my envelopes to be decorated, I usually stamp them or emboss them, but I've never tried adding a designer series paper to the flap, that looks fabulous.

Happy Birthday Amelie from the USA!!! I'm sending wishes that your birthday, and the rest of your life, is always filled with...

    Peace, Love & Joy,
    Joyce
