CTC87 Botanical Builder Box

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night blog hop where we use a section of the catalogue to inspire our projects.  This week's projects are CASED from the Artistic Expression section in the Annual Catalogue pages 66 - 91.

I was lucky enough to run a fun Winter Retreat recently & I just had to CASE the Botanical Box on page 142 for the pillow gifts. Everyone who attended got this box with lots of treats inside.

Here is the one in the catalogue:

Here is my version.  The great thing about these is I could just make the doily section & then add them to any project.  I ended up making 20 of these toppers & added them to a box of chocolates & also a card which you will see below.

I used the retired Extra Large Kraft boxes from the clearance rack for the boxes as it was easier than making 20 boxes!  I stamped the small flowers all over the Kraft box using Peekaboo Peach, but it's a bit hard to see in these photos.

As you can see the extra toppers came in handy.  I was able to make a matching card.

I had a few leftover bits so I wrapped a box of chocolates in brown paper & added the extras to that, along with a candle, as a thank you gift for the Continental House crew.

This is such a lovely bright colour combo, don't you think.  These colours are not ones I would normally put together but they look so good together, how could I resist!

Next up on the hop is Monique, I know she has something special to share with you.

I hope you have been inspired today to create something CASED from the catty just like we did.  If you would like to join our challenge click the link below to add your own project.

Thanks for stopping by
