A New Life - A New Start

Hi,
Just popping in to let you all know lots has happened since I left off in March.  I have moved into my new house and only have all my SU items to unpack.  Boy there are a lot of those boxes to unpack!

A lot of things have changed here with me.  My husband decided he didn't want to move with us to the new house and has decided to make a new life on his own.   My two kids & I are ok but obviously this has come as a great shock as it was very unexpected and has deeply hurt us all.  It has been a few weeks now and we are all adjusting to our new life the best we can.

My Stampin' Up! career will still be going ahead as I love my stamping & creating.  I don't see why my new life cant encompass my passion for sharing and creating as it has always done.  Obviously my time will have to be more structured as I will need to organise babysitters for workshops & classes.

I am still hoping to start my new stamp club late April.  I am really excited to be catching up with my friends & customers after such a long break & look forward to embracing all the new changes that my new life will bring.

Stampin' Up! have been busy whilst I was out of action.  I now have an online shop you can access anytime of day or night and order your supplies. There is a shop now button on the top right that will take you directly to my store.   Of course I am also happy to chat & process your order in the "old" way as well.  After all, being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator has allowed me to create some long lasting friendships that I will cherish forever.

I would like to take the opportunity now to thank all those friends and fellow stampers who have helped me recently during this difficult time.  To those of you that helped me move, unpack, clean, deal with life.... I give you my gratitude & thanks. Without your support I dont know where I would be.

Thanks for visiting,
Tricia

Missing in Action

Hi Everyone,
No I have not dropped off the face of the Earth.  I am very very busy packing up all my worldly goods & moving to a new house.  Lots of packing, organising etc... going on here.  I have been lumped with a lot more than expected so am totally snowed under.  Dont worry once I am in my new place and all unpacked ( I am guessing mid to late April) I will be back with a new enthusiasm.  I love my creating and my Stampin' Up! so stay tuned & check back in April.

What these guys don't realise is that this is just my craft room contents on their roof!

Thanks for all your support & patience.
xx Tricia

Masculine Cards - A Lesson Learned

Hi!  Just popping in for a quick post as a surprise for my downline Leanne.  Leanne makes a very good masculine card and I don't basically!   Why should you all miss out on these cards when I have Leanne to show you how it is done.

Leanne has just promoted to Supervisor - woohoo! Well done Leanne, so here it is your very own post showing off your manly creations!  Leanne doesn't have a blog so any questions ask me & I'll send it along to her.
Harvest Blessings By Leanne Newcombe
With a father & lots of relatives from the country,  Leanne honed in on that tractor stamp like a seagull to a chip the minute our catty was released.  I looked at her puzzled like - "what are you going to do with that?"  Boy was I impressed when I started to see some of the personalised creations she came up with.  Not only did she choose a stamp that meant something to her, it meant more to the recipient & that is what counts.   Now, I must admit I am guilty of overlooking the masculine stamps for all the pretty ones using flowers & butterflies, but since seeing a few of Leanne's cards I am going to make an effort to take my time & really try to see the worth of some of the stamps that are not "pretty".  After all, they just might represent something to the person receiving your handmade card that makes your effort all the more worthwhile.

Stampin' Up! All Dressed Up Frame

I have been missing in action these last 10 days.  Lots of projects to make, lots of classes, lots of preparation for the big Sale-A-Bration day I am holding on the 23rd February.  This day should be a great day out, plus afterwards I might just be able to walk into my stamp room without the 5 boxes of goodies getting in my way :)

My daughter requested I make her a picture for her wall in her new bedroom & I had intended this for her however, after making it I'm having second thoughts!  It is really pretty in real life with lots of detail. I found a few similar ones on google & have cased the third dress in the frame from Cindee Wilkinson

I dont have the Pop & Cuts die yet....it is coming, so I just used the All Dressed Up Framelit die and some ribbons, pearls & a bit of this & that.

All Dressed Up Frame
Flower Trim Wedding Dress
Two Tone Satin Ribbon Ball Gown
Primrose Petals Doily Dress Form

Stamp Sets:  Creative Elements, Gossamer Lace
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Primrose Petals, More Amore DSP, Crumb Cake.
Ink:  Crumb Cake
Cool Tools: Pearls, 1 1/4" Two Tone Pink Pirouette/Rose Red Ribbon, Victoria Crochet trim, 5/8" Flower Trim,  Itty Bitty Punches, Crumb Cake & Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbons Snail.  Frame (my own).
