Today we are casing the baby section of the Occasions Catalogue & I chose to case this card on page 38.
I love the simple layout of this card & while I am mourning the loss of Blendabilities, I thought this was a great opportunity to try our some colouring using blender pens & ink pads.
I'm also in pre mourning mode for the 2013-2015 In Colours - can you tell?! I love the softness of Crisp Cantaloupe as a change up from pink on a baby card. I used both Crisp Cantaloupe & Baked Brown Sugar as they just go together so well. I used one of my all time favourite baby stamp sets from the Annual Catalogue called Baby We've Grown with a surprise addition of the Occasions Catalogue wedding stamp set Your Perfect Day.
I hope you have enjoyed my part of the Blog hop, now it's time to move on to the very talented Jackie Noble, don't stop hopping!

Such a sweet sweet card - and yes I'll join you in being sad that we will lose five lovely incolours ... but then we will have room for five new colours ... yay!
ReplyDeleteLove this Tricia. I would never have imagined these colours but they look great as a combo! Excited to have you on the team! x
ReplyDeleteThose wee shoes look so sweet within the wreath, love the different stamp sets you've used. I hadn't named it "pre-mourning" but I'm in total agreement with you, so sad to see those soft shades retire.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of colours and I love your take on the layout that you CASED. Thanks for joining us as a Guest Designer for our first blog hop.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness -- so CUTE! Love it!! :)
ReplyDeleteSNAP! I was drawn to that card too. :) Love your card and the beautiful autumnal tones you chose for your colours. :)
