Mocha Morning Mother's Day Class

Hi again,
I've had a lot of interest in my Mocha Morning one sheet wonder board I made for Paperific, so I decided to make up a class using some of the cards.  It included a Card Folder to hold 4 cards and matching envelopes in.  This would make a lovely gift for Mother's Day or someone's birthday.  I ran this as a Mocha Morning Mother's Day Class here at my house last night.  Here is what we made.

They all turned out slightly different, but lovely just the same.  Well done girls on a beautiful job.  You all did so well to finish your boxes and cards in the small amount of time we had.  

The card box is based on this video by Carrie Cudney from Stampin' Up! US office.  I have changed the dimensions so I could fit the envelopes inside, but the principle is the same.

Stamp Set: Creative Elements, Language of Friendship, Bring On The Cake, Mixed Bunch, Happiest Birthday Wishes.
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Mocha Morning DSP.  
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso. 

Ribbon: Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon.

Cool Tools: Scallop Edge Border Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Mini Glue Dots, Eyelet border punch, Top Note die, Bigshot, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Scallop Trim border punch.

Stampin Up! Creative Elements Mocha Morning Set

I have finally cleared the mess from my desk today and managed to make a set of cards using the Creative Elements Stamp set and Mocha Morning DSP.  It is based on a set that Andrea Walford made a few years ago with the now retired stamp set Simple Friendship.

I also used the boho blossoms punch and the retired hostess set Punch Potpourri. You could use the Language of Friendship flowers as a substitute.

Stamp Set: Creative Elements, Punch Potpourri, Bring On The Cake.
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Mocha Morning DSP. 
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake.

Ribbon: Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon

Cool Tools: Scallop Edge Border Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Mini Glue Dots.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Season Card

When I first saw this stamp I was not overly impressed.  Being a bird stamp I was shocked at my reaction - I love a good bird stamp!   But after attending stamp club and actually using the stamp I fell in love with it.  It looks great when it is water coloured.  And the vintage look goes perfectly with this little birdy.

Cherry cobbler cardstock with a touch of Mocha Morning Specialty paper, an antique brad and some cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon all combine to give this card a vintage look.  The little berries have been highlighted with a cherry cobbler pen & crystal effects to give them a shiny look. 

Stamp Sets: Beautiful Season
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Soft suede, Water Colour paper, Mocha Morning Specialty paper.
Ink: StayzOn Black.
Cool Tools: Crystal Effects, Cherry Cobbler marker, Water Colour Wonder Crayons - Regals, Antique Brad.

Ribbon: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.
