Happy Mother's Day Box - #MadeForMom

I have been so busy preparing for my Biggest morning Tea fundraiser I have completely forgotten to post all the good things I have been making lately.  Here is a little box we made in Stamp Club last month.  It's Mother's Day this weekend so you have time to quickly whip one up!

Close up - Mother's Day Box of Flowers

I love, love, love, the Hardwood background stamp & can't stop using it!   I was thinking a nice little window box would be pretty for this project so I could not go past the Hardwood stamp.   I used my old favourite the Spiral Flower Die from the Occasions Catalogue as well.  I rarely use Regals & wanted to push myself to use them.  These colours just looked so nice together - I used Crushed Curry (my new favourite colour), Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant & my NEW fringe scissors were used to cut Garden Green cardstock for the grass.   I used the Triangle punch to punch out the fence posts.   We also made a matching card, but I will share that next time :)

Spiral Flower Die - Framed Art & Burlap Wreath

Over the next few posts I will be sharing a few of my projects I presented at our team day in February.
I presented projects using the Spiral Flower Die from the Occasions Catalogue.  It was love at first sight for me with this die.  I could see so many projects before I even got my hands on it.  Today I am showing two more projects, my framed art & my burlap wreath.

I found the frame at a second hand shop & it had broken glass.  I had no use for the glass anyway.  I went to the local hardware store & got them to match a sample pot of paint to Pool Party card stock.  I think they did a terrific job on the colour match don't you?  I have used the Spiral Flower Die with the Gold Foil Sheets, Vellum & Cardstock.  I also used the new Banner framelits & Sale-A-Bration Twine for this project.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a new stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue called Another Great Year.

I have used the same roses on the wreath as I used on the frame, except this time I sponged them in Gold Encore Ink.  I cut out some Gold foil leaves with the Secret Garden Framleits & used the 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon to cover a styrofoam wreath.

Spiral Flower Die - Valentine's Roses

Oh I have completely forgotten to share my special Valentine's roses I made for myself.  Yes,  I knew I would not get any Valentine's presents so I made my own!   These were made using the new Spiral Flower Die featured in the Occasions Catalogue on page 32.  It is only $29.95 & makes the most beautiful & versatile flowers.  I will be sharing some projects over the next week featuring this die so stay tuned for more.

Felt Roses

I used the new Spiral Flower Die with some felt to create these little baby bootee roses. I can see them made with Calico or any other fabric.  Really, your creations are nay limited by your imagination.
